Justification for EICAT assessment

Published studies and grey literature only report on the establishment, tracking, and spread of A. projectellus, but impacts have never been shown or even studied. Reporters have interviewed mycologists and foragers who have stated that the fungus may be displacing or decreasing populations of native species, but sporocarp reproduction can vary annually and inferring impacts from these interviews is not possible.
