Summary
The ornamental tree Schefflera actinophylla has been introduced to numerous regions. Reaching between 20 and 30 metres in height, its many fruits are actively spread by frugivorous birds. Schefflera actinophylla is capable of forming monospecific stands and is considered to be very invasive in tropical and subtropical areas.
