Summary
Impatiens walleriana is a herb from Africa. It has been introduced to many countries as an ornamental but has escaped from gardens and naturalised. Impatiens glandulifera can be very invasive, as in La Réunion, where it is dominant or co-dominant in natural or semi-natural environments.
