Summary
Erigeron karvinskianus is a widely grown herbaceous ornamental. It is very vigorous and can be spread by rhizomes and become invasive. It is one of the major invasive plants in Hawaii and La Réunion, where it can become dominant or co-dominant in natural or semi-natural environments and compete with native species.
