Summary
Originally from south-east Asia, Antidesma bunius is a fruit tree that can grow up to 30 metres high. This tree is cultivated throughout its native range and its fruit is used to make jam. Introduced and naturalized in French Polynesia, the species is invasive there and has been declared a threat to biodiversity.
