Summary
Aleurites moluccana can grow up to 15 or 25m in height in adulthood. This tree is originally from south-east Asia and it has been introduced to many tropical regions. It is grown for its nuts, which are either grilled and eaten or oil is extracted for different uses (lighting, medicine, etc.). It is invasive in several Pacific islands.
